We‘d like you to be become involved. If you belong, say, to a local history society and have an interesting story to tell, why not contact us so that we can help take it to a wider audience. If you have a forthcoming event or you’re running a school or community research project that you’d like us to help publicise, let us know. If you need advice on archival research or display we’d be happy to help. The EMHH is supported by universities, academic historians, archivists and museums specialists across the region. It’s main objective is to provide a shared publications platform for local history groups and researchers across the region.
So let us have details of your news and events.
Let us take your stories about your community’s history to a larger regional audience.
We welcome articles about our region’s past. Articles can be up to 1,500-2,000 words, and features/news stories, etc. of up to 500 words. We need illustrations, photographs, too. We normally publish two issues per year: in June and December.
Contact us as quickly as possible if you are planning to submit work to us. Cut off dates for submission are the 10th May and December respectively.
